Family films shot on 8mm/super8 (sometimes even on 16mm or 35mm) are an invaluable collection of unseen personal testimonies from our history.
Unfortunately, the condition of these film reels is often dramatic, as they are stored in inadequate places and handed down to individuals who don’t know how to project them.
At Archival Footage Service, we strive to build an archive of family films that is accessible to everyone through our YouTube channel.
Our passion for film has driven us to create a section dedicated to vintage effects, called “8mm & Super 8 Film Effects,” where you will find a series of effects crafted with great passion to help you recreate the unique
atmosphere of past films using your current videos or projects.
